For women drivers

Service without the waiting room.

You should not have to sit in a workshop, be talked down to, or take anyone’s word for what your car needs. At EuroHub you do not have to do any of the three.

Women have been driving in Saudi Arabia since 2018, and by 2023 accounted for roughly 30% of all cars sold in the Kingdom. The workshops largely have not caught up — and the most common complaint is not about the mechanical work at all. It is about being spoken to as though you would not understand the answer, and being asked to accept a verbal price for work you cannot verify.

This page sets out exactly how we handle that, what we have in place, and — just as importantly — what we do not yet have. You can hold us to all of it.

You never have to wait here

This is the single most useful thing we can offer, and it removes the problem rather than decorating it.

Book online. Choose your day and shift on the site and you get a confirmation. No phone call, no arriving to negotiate a slot at a counter.

Drop the car and go. Hand over the keys and leave. There is no expectation that you stay, and nobody will suggest you should.

Follow the work from your phone. Every car here runs on a digital job card you can open on your phone and watch in real time — what has been inspected, what was found, photographs of it, and what stage the work is at. This is not a promotional feature; it is how the workshop actually runs, and there are well over seven hundred job cards in the system.

Everything else happens on WhatsApp. Findings, photographs, the quote, your approval, and a message when the car is ready. If you would rather never have a conversation about your car standing up in a workshop, you never have to.

On the research: what 1,382 Saudi women said about driving — including the finding that surprised us.

Nothing here runs on trust

Trust is what you fall back on when there is no evidence. We would rather give you evidence.

Every car is photographed on arrival, before anyone touches it.

Findings come to you with images. If we say a brake disc is below its minimum, you get the measurement and a photograph of it. If we say a shock absorber is leaking, you see the oil on it. You are never asked to accept a description of something you cannot see.

The quote is written, before any work starts, and separates parts from labour. Not a figure said out loud. A written number you can read, keep, and compare with anyone else in Jeddah.

Nothing begins without your approval, and if something else surfaces mid-job the work stops until you have seen a photograph and a revised price and decided. You are free to say no, to say not this month, or to take the list to another workshop entirely. None of those will be treated as a problem.

Your invoice names the parts and their numbers, so you know whether you received the genuine, OEM or aftermarket part you were quoted — and so your service record is worth something if a warranty claim is ever questioned.

What we tell our team

Our team has been briefed on this specifically, and the instruction is short: explain it the same way to everyone.

No simplified version. No "don't worry about the technical part". No assuming a customer wants the short answer because of who they are. If someone wants to know why a part failed, they get the actual reason, at whatever length they want it.

The reverse also holds. Nobody should be made to feel they are expected to already know something. Asking what a part does is a reasonable question and gets a straight answer, not a look.

If anyone here ever falls short of that, we would genuinely like to know. Message us — it is the kind of thing a workshop only fixes if it hears about it.

What we do not have

We would rather tell you this now than have you discover it on arrival.

We do not currently have a female service advisor. Our team is male. We are not going to dress that up, and if dealing with a woman at the counter matters to you, we would rather you knew before you drove over.

We do not have a separate or private waiting area. Our reception is clean, air-conditioned and shared with everyone else waiting. It is a perfectly decent place to sit for twenty minutes. It is not a private lounge, and we are not going to call it one.

What we have instead is the thing above: a process built so that you do not need either of them. You can book, drop off, approve, pay and collect without spending meaningful time in the building at all.

These are also things that can change. If a separate waiting area or a woman on the front desk would make a real difference to you, tell us — that is exactly the sort of feedback that decides what a workshop invests in next.

If the car is new to you

Plenty of our customers passed their test recently, and owning a car asks for a different set of knowledge than driving one does. Nothing about that is unusual and nobody here treats it as such.

We wrote a guide for new car owners in Jeddah covering what the dashboard warning colours actually mean, when the periodic inspection is due, and why a tyre with plenty of tread can still be finished in this climate. It assumes no prior knowledge and is not written down to anyone.

There is also a piece on what you are entitled to expect from any workshop — written quote, seeing the evidence, the old parts back, part numbers on the invoice. It applies to us and to everyone else in this city, and we would rather you held all of us to it.

What actually happens, start to finish

So there are no surprises, this is the whole sequence.

You book online and pick a day and shift. You get a confirmation message. You arrive, hand over the keys, and leave — the car is photographed as it comes in. We inspect and send you the findings with photographs and a written quote separating parts from labour. You approve what you want done and decline what you do not. If anything else is found, work stops and you decide again. When it is finished you get a message, an invoice naming every part fitted with its number, and a documented service record for your file.

If you want to try the process before trusting us with anything expensive, book an inspection. You will get the photographs, the findings and a written quote — and you are entirely free to take that list somewhere else.

FAQ

Asked & answered.

No, and most customers do not. You can book online, drop the car off and leave, then follow the work in real time on a digital job card from your phone. Findings, photographs, the quote and your approval all happen over WhatsApp, so you never need to be on site while the work is done.

Not currently — our team is male, and we would rather say so plainly than let you find out on arrival. What we do have is a process that means you can book, approve and collect without spending meaningful time at the workshop. If a woman on the front desk would make a real difference to you, tell us; that feedback is what decides what we invest in next.

No. Our reception is clean, air-conditioned and shared with everyone else waiting — a decent place to sit for twenty minutes, but not a private lounge, and we are not going to call it one. The alternative we offer is not having to wait at all.

Because nothing is asserted without evidence. Findings come to you with photographs and measurements, the quote is written and separates parts from labour before any work starts, nothing begins without your approval, and the invoice names every part fitted with its number. You can compare that quote with any other workshop in Jeddah before agreeing to anything.

That is completely normal and it changes nothing about how you are treated. Our team is briefed to explain things the same way to everyone, at whatever length you want. Asking what a part does gets a straight answer. And none of the protections above — written quote, seeing the evidence, part numbers — require any technical knowledge to use.

Yes, and it will not be treated as a problem. You can decline anything, defer it, or take the written quote to another workshop for a second opinion. An inspection that ends in "not yet" is a perfectly good outcome, and we say it often.
